This is a Beautiful bright green Praying Mantis. When I was a kid I was told it was illegal to hurt a Praying Mantis because they are so important to our ecosystem as they feed upon a lot of insects and bugs we consider pests. I don’t know about the legality of it ( I try to never hurt any living creature) but I do understand that they are very important to our Ecosystem!
