Schuylkill River Trail

By

On February 15, 2012 the WooFDriver and the PAK went for a mushing tour of the Schuylkill River Trail in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This trail runs through the former railroad right of way owned by the Pennsylvania Railroad. The railroad was completed in the 1880’s to serve as transportation for the coal industry. Now it is a multi-use trail following the river and is still under construction, with plans to connect 140 miles from Schuylkill County to Fort Mifflin.
